Qabíël-kègê Fêqê (/ˈojɪ/ /ˈkègɘ/ [sudden; abrupt] [surgery]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ineg̈èsho Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Qabíël-kègê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qabíël-kègê Fêqê was founded by Cúnvēsh Jóoī 'Dani Carmen' Joúr Sēshvénv Vúchvór Tresëg̈, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Qabíël-kègê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Overview

Qabíël-kègê Fêqê was founded durring the early 16th century in summer of the year 1506, by Cúnvēsh Jóoī 'Dani Carmen' Joúr Sēshvénv Vúchvór Tresëg̈. The establishment of Qabíël-kègê Fêqê suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Qabíël-kègê Fêqê which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Qabíël-kègê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qabíël-kègê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Qabíël-kègê Fêqê is buildings are arranged within a network of restrictive gravel streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The peasent-grade has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Cultural Notes

Life is hard in Qabíël-kègê Fêqê. Its people are impoverished compared to their peers elsewhere. Something is making the locals stay, however, whether fear of the alternative, hope for a better future, or a stubborn attachment to their ancestral lands. Whatver the reason, living in this harsh area for generations has made the people of Qabíël-kègê Fêqê a notably resourceful and hearty people.

Qabíël-kègê Fêqê's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Tarn Glendive began to boil, and released a thick toxic cloud from beneath its waters which devastated , killing every person and animal in its path which could not escape the cloud. Oddly, the plants of the region flourished in the years after the disaster. An estimated people, livestock, and buildings were lost to the disaster. The disaster is referred to as the Death Wind.
